🌸 Meet Maddison 🌸 This will be Madison's second year as a camper! She's been consistently coming to FIRE for the last year and is growing in her relationship with God daily. This is hear camp testimony! . Last year I was going through a season in my life that spiritually and physically drained me, i was looking to distract myself from all the things I was facing that I thought would only help me in that time, but God had other plans. A week before camp I was supposed to leave the country and I thought it would be a great distraction especially in that season. The day i was leaving everything completely fell apart and my trip was ruined but God knew what He was doing all along and makes no mistakes. My friends ended up telling me to come to camp and that is when Smith Mills had forever changed me and I wouldn’t want to trade it for anything else. And if for whatever reason life falls apart, it will always fall apart into His hands. #smithmills19 #peopleofsmc

🃏 Meet Cameron 🃏 Cameron (right) has been a camper with us for years! He is now the resident magician for FIRE and SMC. Ask him to show you a magic trick....seriously do it 👊 Alot of people call Smith Mills Camp, a home and its true. Camp made me feel welcomed into this church family during my first year. I would go to youth group and not talk to anyone but when camp came, it was a safe place to open and talk with other people that love me and that went through similar things that I've went through. The relationships I made with people are what make me who I am today. Especially my relationship with God, who has shown me his love. I definitely would not be where I am if it wasn't for God's spirit moving through me during camp. #smithmills19 #peopleofsmc

🎀 Meet Lexie 🎀 I can never completely express the amount of love and gratitude i have for Smith Mills Camp. Time passes differently there. we are so close to the outside world, but we couldn’t care less about what’s going on out there. It’s an immersive experience, going into parts of me that i never knew existed or was too scared to unpack. But i look around and i see my friends. people who never want me to feel left out or lonely. people who ask me how i’m doing and really mean it. I don’t have to pretend at camp. I can admit my weaknesses, and my friends pray on my behalf. Nothing is better than that. Knowing that i have life long friends willing to fight on my behalf means more to me than i could ever express. This is where i put my everything on the line and let God do what He has to. It’s a challenging week, but nothing in this world could ever compare to it. #smithmills19 #peopleofsmc

⛳ Meet Ty ⛳ Ty is a camper and also our acoustic guitarist for FIRE Worship. This is his camp testimony! There is a very small list of places in my life that I would consider life changing; one of them is certainly Smith Mills Camp. Not only have I met incredible individuals that love and care for me, but I have experienced God move in relentless ways. I will never forget how heavy God’s presence is on those grounds, and the experiences that I have had with God there are the reason why I take Christianity so seriously. I don’t see worshipping God and doing his work as a hobby or a chore; I see it as a lifestyle that I wouldn’t trade for anything the world has to offer, and that’s all because of what God has done through me at Smith Mills Camp. #peopleofsmc #smithmills19

🏀 Meet Isaiah 🏀 This will be Isaiah's third year as a camper. This is his camp testimony! Smith Mills Camp is where I found my second family. My real friends. About two summers ago I had lost most of my friends because they had left for different high schools. I was lonely and lost. I went to camp really only because I felt like I had to. However, I ended up making some of the strongest bonds of my life that year. The lasting friendships I made at camp are friendships I still hold today and it's all thanks to camp. I wouldn't trade it for anything. #smithmills19 #peopleofsmc

📷 Meet Nate 📷 This will be Nate's fourth year as a camper! He has slowly been stepping up in youth group and church and is taking on roles in the sound booth and behind the camera. This is his camp testimony! Smith Mills Camp is a second home to so many people. With Smith Mills being a “second home”, this means that everyone here is a family. This family has been growing for 112 years and continues to grow under the same God. It was 4 years ago when I first came to Smith Mills Camp and this amazing family welcomed me with open arms. There is nothing better than to be surrounded by people that love God and want to share His love with people that haven’t experienced it yet.

🌻 Meet Isabelle 🌻 She is our violin player on @fire_worship! This will be her second year attending Camp! Even though I’ve only been to Smith Mills Camp for one year, it has made a big impact on my life. It has brought me closer to God and given me some amazing God-loving friends. I could feel God’s presence so heavy in the building, touching the hearts of everyone. Camp has taught me so many new things and reminded me of God’s infinite love. It truly is an amazing experience, and I can’t wait for this year! #smithmills19 #peopleofsmc

🌼 Meet Ari 🌼 Smith Mills Camp has impacted my life. I have met so many people that have a strong heart for God. I love all the wonderful people that I've met. Camp gave me new people that would be my second family. It gave me a chance to grow such a strong and close relationship with God that I can't explain. 🌺 Meet Ava! 🌺 This will be Ava's third year as a camper! This is her Camp testimony! Smith Mills Camp has a special place in my heart. The presence of God is always there, whether it be when we’re worshipping together or fellowshipping at the snack shack. Everyone there has the love of God in them and show it through their service and commitment to each other. Having the opportunity to grow in my faith with other believers around me to help guide me is a blessing. I’ve met and grown closer to some incredible people I’m able to call my friends. The memories camp has created and will continue to create are unforgettable, and I’m so expectant of what this year will bring. #smithmills19 #peopleofsmc

No problem! Smith Mills Camp is a 10 day revival style campmeeting with daily bible study, meals, and nightly services! You don't want to miss this!

This weekend at fall retreat we talked about what our identity is and if it lies in Christ and whether or not we are living our lives out for Him. This song Tell the World perfectly fit in with this message. So blessed to have our worship team and leaders! Also thank you to Pastor Tim for two awesome messages!

We love to have fun in worship! Tonight Brandon preached on application. Do we apply what we have learned and what God has given us to our lives? When we apply what we know we are able to dig deeper with God, fight temptations, and grow in our faith.

Worship tonight was fantastic! We want to welcome Ari to the worship team! Tonight we talked about being engaged and how our mindset and perspective creates what we get from our relationship with God. We want to keep the fire burning from camp and how we do that is to continue to seek God, pray, and read his word.
